Cominco Gardens
Situated on a hill and surrounded by mature trees, Kimberley's Cominco Gardens creates a beautiful backdrop for weddings, graduations and special occasions.
Set on 5 hectares with tens of thousands of colorful flowers in bloom, the gardens provide visitors with a place to spend a lazy afternoon exploring the lovely display and a paradise for photographers looking for that perfect shot. You'll see giant dahlias, also known as "dinner plate dahlias," an extensive display of biennials and perennials such as Canterbury bells, foxgloves, asters, rudbeckia and many varieties of roses as well as over 16,000 annuals that include Livingston daisies, marigolds and petunias.
Cominco Gardens has long been a favorite among tourists and local residents.

Kimberley's Underground Mining Railway
Nestled in the Rocky Mountain Trench in the East Kootenay Region of B.C. is the City of Kimberley - the home of the historic Sullivan Mine and the Underground Mining Railway. The Kimberley Underground Mining Railway is owned and operated by the Sullivan Mine and Railway Historical Society. The Kimberley mining railway has been in existence, in one form or another, for 25 years and has developed into a unique tourist attraction.
Visit us and ride the rails through the beautiful Mark Creek valley as you listen to the history of Kimberley and the Sullivan Mine. Experience life as a miner at the underground Interpretive Centre. Participate in our mining show and be exposed to working mine equipment. Enjoy spectacular scenery and the occasional wild life as you travel to the Kimberley Alpine Resort. After a brief stop at the Resort Station you can learn more about Kimberley as you continue back to the Downtown Station.
Explore the Orpheum Theatre, the North Star Schoolhouse, the Miner’s Cabin, the Powerhouse, and the Caboose as part of your adventure into history.

Platzl and Cuckoo Clock
The Platzl is a pedestrian-only outdoor shopping area in the downtown core. Modeled on an alpine theme, the Platzl combines unique shops and restaurants with an European village atmosphere. Several festivals are centred in the Platzl during the summer months and visitors may enjoy vaudeville or theatre performances and singers. The Platzl also features the largest free standing Cuckoo Clock in North America .
While in the Platzl, enjoy the art display at Centre 64, learn the details of Kimberley's past at the Heritage Museum or enjoy a specialty coffee or tea at a coffee shop. If you're especially energetic, take a 10 minute walk to Cominco Gardens and its beautiful floral displays. After all the shopping and sightseeing, visitors can relax on a patio with a cool drink at one of the many downtown restaurants.
Marysville Falls and Mainstreet Marysville
Marysville is located just a short 10 minute drive south of downtown Kimberley. This southernmost suburb provides its own unique flavour in the shops and cafes found along its mainstreet area.
The Marysville Falls is located near the main street. A wooden walkway brings you to a platform from which you have a spectacular view of the 100 ft waterfall. Don't forget your camera!
Kimberley's section of the TransCanada Trail Network is a 10 minute walk from the Marysville Eco Park. A kiosk is located at the beginning of the trail and directs you into the trail which takes you into the downtown area of Kimberley. The TransCanada Trail also winds through the Kimberley Nature Park, one of the largest municipal parks in Canada.

Centre 64
Located ½ block up from Kimberley’s Platzl is Centre 64, Kimberley’s Art Gallery. Throughout the year the Gallery offers many local exhibitions and theatre performances.
