According Kevin Wilson, Kimberley Economic Development Officer, “the inaugural Kimberley Business Expo was conceived as a way to address concerns identified in the 2013-14 Kimberley Survey of Businesses.”

“From August 2013 to July 2014 we interviewed 50 Kimberley businesses to see how things were going” says Mike Guarnery, Manager of the Kimberley Chamber. “By and large the results were positive. But when we looked closer at what were identified as constraints to business we realized that busy entrepreneurs might not be aware of who was out there to help.”
