Inaugural Kimberley Business Expo a Success

November 14, 2014

The inaugural Kimberley Business Expo held yesterday at the Kimberley Conference Centre.

With 15 vendors and 53 attendees, the four hour event fueled the entrepreneurial spirit of those in attendance with resources they need to buy, sell, grow, and compete.

94% of the 37 evaluations that were completed rated the event as very good or excellent. According to one participant who was seeking help expand their business in Kimberley, “It would have taken me a year to find all these resources.”

On the heels of this success the event is planned to take place during small business week in 2015, with an increased offering of vendors offering business-to-business support.

The event was organized by the Kimberley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Kimberley, and received financial support from the City of Cranbrook and Community Futures East Kootenay.

Thanks to all that participated!
