Kimberley Investment Opportunities Tour
The City and the Chamber are teaming up to showcase commercial investment opportunities around town through a tour of properties with key experts.
The purpose of the Tour is to raise awareness and generate discussion about the possibilities for some of the vacant properties throughout the community. While Kimberley’s commercial vacancy rate is the lowest it has been in several years, there is certainly room to improve to bring in more businesses and more jobs.
February 16, 2015 the Kimberley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Kimberley are co-hosting the Investment Opportunities Tour of commercial buildings for rent or for sale. The tour will begin at 10 AM in the downtown at the Platzl bandstand. Transportation will be provided to other locations in Townsite and Marysville.
“We know that people are curious about the vacant buildings” explained Mike Gaurnery, Chamber Manager, “we want to start conversations about possibilities.”
“We want to be proactive about this” explained Kevin Wilson, City Economic Development Officer. “People see the vacancies, we want to satisfy their curiosity and give entrepreneurs and investors the chance to think about the possibilities.”
Local realtors and the City Building Inspector will be present to answer questions. Light snacks will be provided. In the mean time, contact Kevin at 250-427-6030 if you have questions.
